Spring and Summer are almost here and I already am thinking about what I’m going to wear. You might be like “girl the year just started” and yes it did but…it’s also time to think about what is meant to be worn for the 2025 seasons!!!!!!
The spring for me is about bringing back color into your wardrobe. Its about giving life into a lonely, gray world. My winter was kinda mid tbh. I didn’t find it to be cool at all. I very much had seasonal depression to the max but hey I’m trying to keep a positive spirit for good vibes only.
Wardrobe Inspiration

My wardrobe inspo for these two seasons are paloma wool and Margiela of course. I’ve been inspired by paloma wool specifically because I love how simple the clothing is. The way the whole aesthetic of the brand is truly built on having a minimalistic palette makes me very attracted to the brand. I love how the brand also doesn’t stick to that neutral color palette but use splashes of pastels. That truly inspires me to bring color back to my wardrobe as someone who doesn’t gravitate to color much. I was inspired that as the spring is very neutral toned in a way. It’s really about bringing life back to a gray world, as that winter depression DOES hit HARD. I love how the brand is very settle with the colors they use, it basically makes them unique in my eyes.

Margiela has been my favorite brand for as long as I can remember. I love the craftsmanship of the brand, as I do own two of his pieces. Even though it feels like The Real Real may have sold me a fake…Regardless, I really love this brand very much. A way they are inspiring my SS wardrobe is the deconstruction of the clothing. I love how the brand is truly built on having a very unique creative way of doing their clothing. The white on white always adds a nice touch. I find that really inspiring as it’s something that can be easy to style yet hard to make look good. I have also been inspired by the monochromatic vibes the brand brings. Going back to the white on white, I also love how you can style a monochrome outfit of black and the pieces are layers of different fabrics and materials which makes the outfit more interesting and unique.
Key Pieces for SS25
Comfort meets statement—light fabrics with asymmetrical cuts or bold archive prints.

- Tops
- For SS25, my tops are all about striking a balance between comfort and color. As I said before wearing color for me is not something I usually do, most of the tops I currently go with the balance of comfort and color. The other I got this top that is literally the perfect top for the season. Having an oversized white dress shirt is something I will be wearing as it adds a very structure tone to the outfit.

- Bottoms
- I chose to wear capris. I loved them so much this summer that I bringing them back. I also am going to wear skirts. I have this one ruffle skirt that just hits the spot. I will be continuing to wear my good ol’ blue jeans, that’s a fact.

- Dresses
- This season, I want to lean into wearing dresses more. I have this cheetah print like dress. I will love to style it with boots, flats and sneakers. I also want to try to buy more because I’m need of more.

- Outerwear
- Lightweight trench coats are ideal for those in-between weather days where sometimes it’s cold or where sometimes it’s warm. They also look great with anything that I wear tbh. Sheer cardigans are a must-have for layering over tank tops to achieve a soft, avant-garde look.

- Accessories
- My Margiela Gats are shoes that I will be abusing everyday as they go with everything. My pairs of ballet flats also add a very French kinda of vibe to the looks. Oversized totes in experimental textures reflect my love for fun while being functional for everyday errands. Understated gold pieces complement my outfits without overpowering the whole aesthetic. Mixing in silvers and a nice simple watch.

Sustainability & Intention

With wanting to have this wardrobe for the spring/summer season, I’m also intentionally trying to wear pieces that are of good material so that I do not have to constantly purchase new clothing. I also want to have a wardrobe that can be worn again and again for many spring/summer seasons. I want the wardrobe to be transcended in the fall/winter seasons also. This would help with being sustainable and intentional with how I am working with my wardrobe.
Trends vs. Personal Style
When it comes to following trends and building your personal style. I feel like it’s essential to know what trends go with the personal style that you were trying to achieve. Knowing this it would be easy for you to not over populate your closet with a lot of clothes. This will also help you with knowing how to style yourself much better and in a much easier way. The thing people don’t realize about building personal style is that you kinda have to follow trends to really know what you like and what you don’t. In following trends I mean, only following the trends that you like. The trends that seem appealing to you, the trends that go with what you want to go with. I feel like this is a way to really differentiate trends vs. personal style.
The Story Behind the Wardrobe
My SS25 wardrobe isn’t just a collection of clothes—it’s a narrative. Every piece feels like a chapter, weaving function and form together to reflect my personal journey and aesthetic. From flowing silhouettes to bold textures, this season’s wardrobe tells a story of balance, individuality, and creativity, all while staying true to my love for minimalism with an avant-garde edge.
