Trends these days are somewhat inspiring but also not. These are my Top ten favorites.

Balloon pants

• Parachute pants have honestly been a hit for spring/summer 2022. From TikTok to Bella Hadid, to Pinterest, to Instagram, these pants have been everywhere. styling these pants can be done in multiple ways. They are the best pants because they are lightweight and suitable for spring/summer, yet good enough for fall/winter.

Adidas

• Sambas
• Forum Lows

Adidas in general, most recently having a collab with Gucci which is absolutely beautiful and a collab with Wales Bonner is a big hit. Adidas has definitely become more mainstream thanks to TikTok. Bella Hadid rocking out the Adidas samba original became a huge trend on TikTok as most people look up to her for fashion inspo.

New Balance

• This brand not gonna lie has been hated on but if you look past the hate you will find amazing shoes that will elevate your look. Whether you want to go casual, or business the shoes from this brand very much give. Having a collab with Aime Leon Dore using the New Balance 550 made the brand even more remarkable to trends.

Low-rise Jeans

• Since the 2000s these jeans have always been a significant trend. Especially when being paired with a nice baby tee, completing a whole look. With the trends these days people have different aesthetics. One of those aesthetics includes the early 2000s.

Baggy Jeans

• Baggy jeans have been around a good amount of time and they have become a staple in most closets. These jeans can be styled a million different ways and still look fashionable.

Tote Bags

• I recently noticed that people have been I guess tired of backpacks and are opting out of a tote bag. Which has gained its popularity during this spring/summer. Seeing these makes different and certain styles become more elevated. Having Marc jacobs come out with one also made it more popular

Bracelets

• In school, lots of people wear bracelets, of course, have been a thing but personally have become more of a rise during this spring/summer. I have the feeling they will surely continue to reign forever, especially with the idea of accessorizing one’s outfit.

Thrifting

• Thrifting isn’t really a trend per se but the clothing that comes out of thrifting is the trend. People find it better to shop second-hand because of its uniqueness and for the environment. Though fast fashion is still a “trend” thrifting has become more normalized than before. I remember being young and wanting to shop in stores everyone shopped at, dreading the fact I shopped at thrift stores. Recently it’s become a “trend” to shop at thrift stores.

Crocs

• When I was younger I hated crocs and very badly hated wearing them. Has I have gotten older meaning right now, I have become more fond of them. They definitely made a comeback with all the colors and designs, collaborations, and partnerships.

The use of headphones

• Headphones honestly for me have become super cool because of how people are using them as fashion accessories. Starting with the Airpod Max Pros, those have set the trend with how sleek and basic they look. Every outfit worn with these headphones just brings out a different aspect of the fit.
